This charming cottage is complete with a white picket fence! Built in the 1930's by a boat builder, it exhibits quality construction of this era with exposed beams in the living room, beautiful craftsman style fireplace, and high ceilings.

 

Nicely furnished with a four-poster queen-size bed in the main bedroom and a rollaway available for the second bedroom. The private yard is nicely landscaped with privacy hedge, trees, ivy and flowers.

 

Two large covered porches provide the perfect place to grill or sit in the rockers and read. You'll find everything you need to make this your home base for work, travel, or that special romantic getaway.

Visit the many antique and gift shops, enjoy fine dining, tour the quaint town of Havre de Grace rich with history, explore the many museums, and take in the fabulous views of the Upper Chesapeake Bay - all within walking distance!

Nearby Susquehanna State Park provides miles of biking and hiking trails. Boat launches are conveniently located for your power boating, sailing, fishing, canoeing or kayaking pleasure.

Centrally located between Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., with Amtrak and MARC train services just 15 minutes away, the cottage is an ideal place from which to launch your day trips!
